This set wants to reproduce the Schecter F500T that Mark Knopfler made popular  on his “Schecter Strat”.
He used Schecter guitars between 1980 and 1987 aprox and played with them on recordings such as “Making movies” and in live to perform “Once upon a time in the west”, “Sultans of Swing”, “Tunel of Love”, “Going home” or “Why Worry” .
The winding of these pickups is a tapped strat type and they have 2 windings, the first is located in the internal part and  is used in the 1st position of the mini-selector, then the coil has a second winding that is activated together with the first with the other position of the mini-selector. When the selector is in the center position, the pickup is off.
The only changes we can made in comparison to the original are:

  • Standard winding is same direccion and polarity in the three pickups but you can order the set with the RW/RP modification on the middle pickup. Please request this in the “Additional remarks” box.
