The “Modern Alnico” are already pickups that go beyond the classic sound and are the gateway to harder styles such as heavy metal or progressive rock. This set is manufactured with alnico 5 magnet (Modern Alnico) or with ceramic magnet (Modern Ceramic). These with alnico magnets give them a more rounded and warm sound and that is why they are in this group of humbuckers between the traditional and the modern. They are made wiht 43 AWG polynylon and nickel silver cover and plate (brass free), keeper bar for the steel screws and maple wood spacer. Also, the output cable can be made of one wire with shielded push back wire, or of four wires and ground to have the split coil option.
